Since about 25 years ago and every year since, Abacus swivel chair parts has been manufacturing classic wood office chair bases...manufactured for strength, beauty and function. The core strength and popularity of our base can be attributed to each leg having a 1/4" thick steel plate to support the leg. Sustainable hardwood "White Ash" is preferred and provides an excellent wood specie choice. White Ash is outstanding in hardness, grain pattern and other hardwood wood characteristics. The leg shape design is free flowing complimenting both modern or contemporary styles.
